We do more than forced induction here at iA, and even though some naturally aspirated cars leave you wanting for more power, this isn’t the case with BMW’s new M5 and M6 series. With a 500 hp V10 under the hood this car can manage to get out of it’s own way fairly well in [...]

Audios turbos.

We see a lot of turbos… A LOT! We don’t see a lot of turbos like the ones that arrived here in a customer’s Audi A6. In fact, we just about never see turbos like the ones I pulled from this Audi. The car was brought to us on a trailer. I pulled it in to the shop, to swap [...]

This was a huge upgrade over stock, but the beam pattern left much to be desired. The culprit: sealed beam style housings. The [...]

I said there would be a sequel and the creature is back. The first round of pictures were scary, but we have dissected the creature and captured even more frightening pictures.
Oil pump pulley… this should have been replaced . (below)
Two different length bolts… I think I would have done something different here, too.
Oh yeah, it was also on backwards. [...]

World, meet Paxton.
We got this ferocious little gremlin about 2 months ago when he was 8 weeks old. He is half pug, half beagle… yes a puggle. Beagles are pretty active and Pugs tend to sleep all day so he has spurts of about 20 min where he just runs and runs around in circles [...]

I was looking through the hard drive tonight of all my hundreds of pictures that I have taken around the shop in the last few years, and thought you guys might enjoy seeing how time changes around here.
Outside the old shop. 2 bays and a small engine room:
With a future engine builder?
Yea…maybe not
