Porsche, porsche performance

January 5th: 2005 997 C2S

The next car in line.
This is a local 997C2S that I have done extensive modifications to. By far my favorite car to come through the shop, and we have been with it since it first rolled off the showroom floor. Since it is a local car, it comes and goes as it pleases, getting a few add ons here and there. The car will be coming back to the shop soon for it’s winter projects, including a lightweight flywheel and clutch setup, as well as a few more interior bits. It has been a long ongoing process, but we are pretty close to perfection I think. At the time the project was started, the 997GT3 had not yet hit the states, so we decided to build something just as cool!

Some of the modifications to the car include: EvoMS supercharger, full Fabspeed exhaust (mufflers, sport cats, and headers), Champion rims painted flat black (track wheels), GT3 cup motorsport front bumper, aerokit/GT3 rear tail with carbon fiber wing), GMG rear upper control arms, GT3 cup from lower control arms and solid thrust bushing kit, Bilstein PSS coilover suspension, IA aluminum pedals, CF center console, CF sport chrono cover, 997 Club Sport Seats in carbon fiber and grey alcantara, Techart steering wheel, CF mirrors, GMG rollbar, Simpson 6 point harnesses, rear seat delete, GMG front and rear sway bar kit, rennline aluminum floor mats, Brembo big brake kit front and rear, and front GT3 brake cooling ducts.

The combination of these modifications produced a real beast out on the track that runs away from most of the cars out there. It isn’t if this car will pass you on the track, it is when…..so be prepared.
